The first five picks in the 1994 NBA Draft.
My sincerest apologies to Cavs and Wizards fans for not representing you earlier on opening night. Here are Tyrone Hill and Juwan Howard, which will hopefully make it up to you. The Howard one is kind of fitting, because he won with the Heat last year. Tyrone Hill would’ve won one with the Heat if they’d signed him instead of Eddy Curry.
I’m going to cut right to the chase, I have the LA Clippers winning it all this year. Why? Based on my expert analysis of the past two seasons, painstakingly going over hours of game footage, I see one thing that the Clippers have in common with the ‘11 Mavs and the ‘12 Heat: a member of the ‘94 draft class. The Mavs had Kidd, the Heat had Howard. The Clippers have Grant Hill, another member of that draft class, and the one that will ensure the Clippers win it all this season. He’s due, they’re due, lock it up, Clips ‘12-‘13 champs.

(PS, I’m aware that Kidd is playing for the Knicks, but he already won. Grant Hill will finally fulfill the promise of all those Sprite (TM) commercials.)
Did anyone else see poor Juwan Howard trying to break up Coach Spo and D-Wade last night? He’s gotta be thinking to himself right now “man, I came back one more year to sit on the bench for this? Come on LeBron, ‘not five, not six…’, how ‘bout one would be great, make a frickin’ free throw and take your hands from off your own throat. Maybe it’s not too late for C-Webb or Rose to get me a gig in the booth…”
The only three players still in the NBA from the 1994 Draft. (Link is to the Wikipedia article, which is quite a trip down memory lane.)
My new jersey pick-up, Juwan Howard, ‘94 Washington Bullets.
Grant Hill is the only other player still in the league from the ‘94 draft class.
